A minor goes to jail for drugs and intoxication

Roosevelt, Ut.- On 3/18/23, RPD Officers were dispatched to an intoxicated minor arguing with a female complainant.

When the Officer arrived, the male suspect Jayken Bret Ford was detained by another Officer for the time being. The Officers spoke with the female complainant about what had taken place.

She stated Jayken is a good kid, but when he drinks, he gets aggressive. When asked how old Jayken is, she stated Jayken is 19 years old.

One of the Officers found a black rubber container with THC wax inside of it. The Officer asked the complainant if she was aware of the marijuana in the house, and she stated she knew he smoked marijuana and drank a lot of alcohol.

The Officers asked the complainant and another male in the home if this incident had turned physical. She stated Jayken wouldn't move for her to walk away and pushed him out of the way.

Officers then spoke with Jayken, who confirmed he had consumed alcohol and smoked marijuana. Jayken admitted to throwing a bong used to smoke marijuana off the hill in their backyard.

The Officers collected the evidence of drug paraphernalia and the THC wax.

Jayken Ford was arrested and transported to the Uintah Basin Medical Center ER for medical clearance due to his intoxication level. When cleared, He was transported to the Duchesne County Jail.
