9-1-1 received a call from a woman reporting that her husband, 39-year-old William Jeff Allison, had become physical with her during an argument.
Deputy Anderton arrived at the residence and spoke with William, who was very nonchalant, stating nothing had happened beyond an argument.
William told the deputy that the victim had gone to a family member's home to cool off.
Deputy Anderton drove to the family member's home to speak with the victim. She stated that William was drinking before the argument and fell when coming out of the bathroom because he was so drunk.
The victim said William came toward her, but she moved out of the way, and he fell again. As she tried to leave, William grabbed her by the hair and began assaulting her. She broke free by hitting him back.
The victim had a golf ball-sized contusion on her forehead that she said came from William. She also said William pushed her into a window during the argument, breaking the window with her left elbow. No marks were seen on the victim's elbow. She stated that she was wearing a thick jacket at this time.
Deputy Anderton returned to the scene to speak with William again. He admitted to drinking but said he didn't remember how the victim got the goose egg on her forehead. When asked about the broken window, he said he was the one who stumbled into the window.
Based on the information gathered by the deputy, he determined there was enough probable cause to arrest William Allison for assault, domestic violence, and public intoxication. He was transported to Uintah County Jail and booked on those charges.
William Jeff Allison may post bail in the amount of $1,310.00.
