The woman who tried to kill her husband with prescription drugs was arrested for meth

AP&P Agent Ercanbrack and Sgt Cannon conducted a probation check at an apartment at 650 West 100 South in Vernal, Ut.


The agent had received information that the probationer, 58-year-old Keri Denise Boren-Ross Kelsey, had been using meth. Agent Ercanbrack stated that a drug test Keri took showed positive for methamphetamine use.


The agent conducted a compliance check on Keri's bedroom, and during the check, he found a clear baggie of suspected meth in Keri's purse. She made the statement that she was going to jail.


Sgt Cannon met with Keri in the parking lot, where she was advised of her Miranda Rights. Keri admitted to using meth this morning.


Keri was placed under arrest and taken to the Uinath County Jail, where she was booked for possession of a schedule I/II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.


Keri Denise Kelsey may post bail in the amount of $500.00.




Wife tries killing her husband by spiking his drinks with prescription drugs

A Detective with the Vernal City Police Department was notified of an individual who was taken to the Ashley Regional Medical Center around December 1st, 2024. The male victim remained in the ICU for several days, receiving treatment.
