Vernal, Ut.- On 3/24/23, Sgt Gledhill applied for a search warrant for a residence at 650 West 100 South. The reason for the search warrant was for the distribution of illegal narcotics.
The warrant was reviewed and approved by Duchesne Justice Court Judge Labrum.
Sgt Gledhill and assisting Officers executed the search warrant. After the residence was secured, the female tenant and a male subject arrived and voluntarily walked into the apartment.
They made contact with the male, identified as 25-year-old Christian Chace Buckmaster.
Christian was asked to step outside and was informed that the police were conducting a search warrant of the apartment and asked him if there was anything illegal on his person. Christian stated he had heroin in his pocket.
Sgt Gledhill retrieved two tooters and pieces of tin foil that contained heroin.
Christian was detained and placed under arrest.
During a search of the apartment, a men's hoodie was found hanging on the bedroom door, and it contained tooters, glass methamphetamine pipes, a loaded syringe containing methamphetamine, a zip lock baggy containing marijuana, and a foil marijuana pipe, all belonging to Christian.
In a stuffed pillow on the bed in Christian’s bedroom, three firearms were found belonging to Christian. Checking the serial numbers on the firearms, it was found that the .32 auto had been listed as stolen out of the Wasatch Front.
Christian Buckmaster was transported and booked into the Uintah County Jail.
